The Edwards Ensemble is a brand new exciting collaboration. The Ensemble succeeds Juliet's earlier, extremely successful group, Piano Plus, and is born of a desire to bring favourite duo partners together to play both large and small-scale chamber music. When all together, the founder members, pictured to the left, form the grouping needed to play Messiaen's stupendous Quartet for the End of Time. Trio concerts also form an integral part of the Ensemble's activity, with the marvellous repertoire for Clarinet Cello and Piano and Violin, Clarinet and Piano, along with the classic Piano Trio combination. As the Ensemble was inspired by Juliet's duo partnerships, duo recitals feature too. Juliet's ambition is, after the first season, to expand the Ensemble to encompass additional groupings including Piano Quintets, Wind and Piano Sextets, Vocal Ensemble music and much much more.
