Kathryn Greeley - Violin

Juliet Edwards - Piano

Kathryn Greeley and Juliet Edwards established their duo whilst they were postgraduate students at the Royal Academy of Music. Their first ever performance together, of Brahms’ Sonata in A major, won them the Rae Leeming Prize, the Academy’s violin and piano duo competition. They went on to receive the Academy’s highest qualification, the DipRAM, as a duo. They continued to perform together regularly, receiving encouragement from many distinguished musicians, including the former members of the Amadeus Quartet, until Kathryn’s move to Edinburgh to join The Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Now that Kathryn is based in London once again, she and Juliet have re-established their duo, and are enjoying adding new pieces to the wide repertoire they have performed together in the past.
